These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through julaosten.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases of physical products (hand-printed shirts, art prints, postcards) and commissioned artworks made via my online shop or by direct arrangement. They apply to consumers as defined under German law (§ 13 BGB).

3. Products & Handmade Characteristics

Many of the products in this shop are handmade or hand-printed, which means slight variations in color, texture, ink distribution, or appearance are normal and part of the artistic process. These variations do not constitute defects.

Art prints, postcards, and clothing may also vary slightly in color depending on screen settings.

4. Commissioned Artworks

For custom commissions:

A non-refundable deposit may be required.
Timelines are agreed individually.
The client will receive preview images before final approval.
Minor adjustments are included; extensive changes may incur extra fees.
Copyright remains with the artist unless explicitly transferred.

5. Pre-Orders & Limited Editions

Some items may be offered as pre-orders or as limited editions.

Pre-orders

Payment is due at the time of ordering.
Production timelines are stated on the product page.
Delays may occur in handmade or small‑batch production; customers will be notified accordingly.

Limited editions

Limited items are produced in small quantities.
Once sold out, they will not be restocked.

6. Ordering Process

By placing an order, you are making a binding offer to purchase the items in your cart. You will receive an automatic order confirmation email. A contract is concluded once the order is accepted and dispatched.

7. Prices

All prices are final prices due to Kleinunternehmerregelung (§ 19 UStG)—no VAT is charged or shown.

Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

8. Payment

Payments can be made via:

PayPal
Credit card (via Wix Payments)

Payment data is processed by the respective providers.

9. Shipping

Orders are shipped from Portugal or Germany, depending on availability.

Delivery times depend on destination and will be shown at checkout.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

10. Returns & Exchanges

You may return items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original condition.

Custom commissions are not returnable, unless faulty.

Customers bear return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

11. Refunds

Refunds are issued once returned items are inspected and approved. Refunds are processed via the original payment method.

12. Reservation of Title

Items remain my property until fully paid.

13. Liability

My liability for damages is limited to foreseeable and typical damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

14. Copyright

All artworks, illustrations, designs, and photographs on this website are protected by copyright. Reproduction or distribution without written permission is not allowed.

Commissioned artworks remain the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed.

15. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform. I am not obliged or willing to participate in a consumer dispute resolution procedure.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
